Malto wins Street League Championhip

Looking to continue his sweep, Nyjah Huston made a furious comeback to edge out Chris Cole for second place in the Street League championship in Newark, NJ, but it wasn't enough to pass leader Sean Malto who hadn't missed a trick since the first section.

Malto was a last-minute injury substitution for the higher ranked Tommy Sandoval, and walked a away with a record $200,000 prize


Dew Tour Portland Results

Paul Rodriguez edged out Ryan Decenzo and Manny Santiago to win the street event for the second stop of this year's Dew Tour, the Portland Invitational.

Bucky Lasek improved upon his second place finish in Ocean City to beat Pedro Barros in his second shot at the portable bowl. Meanwhile, the podium for the Legends Jam was a carbon copy of the Pro-Tec Pool Party with Chris MIller, Steve Caballero and Lance Mountain again claiming the top threee spots..


X Games 17 Results

X Games 17 in downtown Los Angeles featured a mix of familiar and new face on the podium this year. In one of the best Vert contests in recent memory, PLG left the door open for Shaun White to get one more run which won him the contest.

This year featured possibly the best street course ever, seemingly pulled from a level of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Nyjah Huston won his first X Games gold while Marisa Dal Santo won her third gold medal. Ryan Decenzo walked away with the SK8 gold.

Old hand Bob Burnquist reclaimed the gold in Big Air, while Raven Tershy won the Park competition in his first X Games.


Dew Tour Ocean City Results

Pedro Barros won the first ever Bowl event at the Pantech Open stop of the Dew Tour in Ocean City, MD, but it was Bucky Lasek returning to his home state who prevailed over PLG and Shaun White despite a rainy night and a wet ramp to win the Vert finals.


Nestor Judkins goes to Disneyland

Nestor Judkins celebrated his birthday by going to Disneyland after opening a great present: His first pro model with Enjoi. Check out the accompanying video on his video page.

Battle at the Berrics 4 goes to Them

07.04.2011


The 2011 Battle at the Berrics had new format, U.S. vs. Them where all first round battles featured an American skater vs. a foreign representative. The finals came down to America's P.J. Ladd vs. Canadan Am Morgan Smith.

With the battle scheduled to appear on line on July 4th, one might think that Ladd would have the upper hand. However, the battle took place on Canada Day, and consequently, Morgan Smith was named the winner.


Street League Kansas City Results

06.13.2011


Nyjah Huston won the second stop of the Street League series.
Chris Cole and Chaz Ortiz rounded out the top three, while hometown hero Sean Malto finished fourth in the second stop in Kansas City, MO.
